It’s at this time of year, during the last minute dashes for gifts or trying to rally your family members together to decide gathering details, that pushes work into an interesting spot in our lives. Some people go away for the holidays, some prefer to work right through the holiday time.
Whatever it is you do, the only thing that you have to ensure is that you make adequate time for your family. I understand the temptation of wanting to work, and I’ve brought it up various times before that working on the holidays can certainly get you ahead of the curb, but you should never put your work before family. Seeing your kids excited for the holidays is something that you simply won’t get again once they’re older.
In other words, this is a short and sweet reminder to make sure that you spend time with your family this holiday season, no matter what celebration you observe this time of year.
